The Man Behind the Lens

My story didn't start behind a camera. It started in the Army.

 

 

After picking up photography in high school, I enlisted as an Infantryman. With my first paychecks, I bought a camera and started documenting everything around me. My peers noticed. Soon I was attending a Unit Public Affairs course and shooting real missions. Refugee efforts from Afghanistan, international training operations with U.S. allies. High expectations and no second takes. That's where I learned what it actually means to capture a moment.

During COVID, I picked up my first drone and never looked back. What started as a hobby turned into an obsession. I'm now FAA Part 107 certified, actively pursuing my commercial pilot's license, and flying every chance I get.

Back on the ground, I took everything the military taught me, discipline, precision, showing up, and built Southern Visuals. Today we produce full service cinematic content for brands that want more than just a video. Ground camera, aerial drone, FPV. Whatever your business demands.
